  3. Programs are subject to change based on international flights booked.

  6. Seaside stays and free days are without a guide, unless otherwise stated in the program.
  7. The programs of the circuits are typical programs. The order of visits may be changed on site. Similarly, we reserve the right to change itineraries in cases where museums/temples are closed, under construction or for any reason prohibiting access to sites or museums. But in any case, we will try to find a satisfactory alternative.
  8. On your tour, you’ll have the opportunity to see and buy handicrafts. Mimpi Nusantara Asia declines all responsibility for your purchases, the advice of our guides being given free of charge and indicative.
  9. To allow you to deepen the discovery of the country visited, complementary and optional excursions, sometimes not included in your program, may be offered to you. They are optional and do not alter the course of the planned itinerary. The list of these optional tours is given to you by your guide upon arrival. Prices are in local currency and payment is made to your guide.

  13. The services contracted by the customer with third parties outside the contract constitute independent contracts and cannot in any way engage the liability of Mimpi Nusantara Asia or give rise to reimbursement or compensation on its part.

Transport and Accompaniment

  1. Air transport is subject to operational and safety requirements that may cause delays beyond the control of Mimpi Nusantara Asia. Mimpi Nusantara Asia cannot be held responsible for changes to schedules or itineraries resulting from external events.
  2. The identity of the operating air carrier shall be communicated to the customer as soon as it is known. Any change in the identity of the carrier occurring after the conclusion of the contract will be passed on to the customer by Mimpi Nusantara Asia as soon as he becomes aware of it and, at the latest, at check-in or boarding for connecting flights. The customer is informed that the airlines enter into so-called codeshare agreements with each other, which consist of marketing a flight under their own name while it is operated by an aircraft of another company.
  3. Train schedules are given for information purposes only and are not contractual (please note: in case of overbooking on the Yogyakarta-Surabaya train, customers may be transported by domestic flight – at no extra charge). Night train journeys in Indonesia are made, unless otherwise stated, in air-conditioned 2nd class sleepers. The berths are arranged in 2 superimposed rows, on either side of the wagon, along its entire length. There is no booth or partition. Curtains close each berth. The sanitary facilities are common to each carriage. The comfort is very basic.
  4. For safety and insurance reasons, we strongly advise against renting/using cars, jet skis, two-wheeled vehicles.
  5. Timetables and/or distances are provided for information purposes only and are not contractual. They are subject to change without notice. Source: Google Maps or similar.
  6. Speed boat transfers from Bali to Lombok/Gili may be cancelled without notice by the company due to adverse weather reasons. Mimpi Nusantara Asia arranges for travellers to be transported by air or public ferry (surcharge).
  7. Buses used locally can in no way compete with the comfort of their European counterparts (depending on the bus, no refrigerator or toilet on board). The tours are carried out on board air-conditioned buses from recent productions. However, during busy periods, an older bus may be used. Nevertheless, whether the bus is recent or not, you will appreciate the caution and kindness of your drivers.
  8. On cruises or boat trips, the crew may improvise a pier/landing stage on an undeveloped dock. Each participant must comply with the rules of caution and follow the advice given by the crew and/or the guide. Mimpi Nusantara Asia accepts no liability for non-compliance.
  9. The guides selected to accompany you are professionals. They speak French or other languages of the traveler, love their country and it is with great kindness that they will make you discover it. It is possible that on certain stages and at certain sites, an official local guide replaces your usual guide, the latter not having the right to comment on the site in question. It may be that in busy periods, your guide may be less experienced. It must be borne in mind that French is a foreign language for him, often learned at university. In this case, you have to know how to show exchange and openness (It is common for guides to withdraw at the last minute during high season for personal reasons or to participate in religious ceremonies. The guides can be replaced at the last minute.).
  10. All our guides are professionals accredited by the Ministry of Tourism. They receive remuneration for the accompaniment of our tours. It is customary for the satisfied traveler to leave a tip of about €3 per day per person at the end of their stay. This tip is divided between driver, driver assistant and guide.

Accommodation

  1. For triple rooms, the extra bed is very often an extra bed or a mattress placed on the floor. This is the case for all hotels, both on the circuit and in the seaside resort. It is sometimes impossible to put an extra bed in some hotels, in which case a single room supplement will have to be applied.
  2. Rooms are available from 2pm and must be vacated by 12pm (noon) on the day of your departure. We can offer you an “early check-in” or “late check-out” at an additional cost and on request according to your arrival and departure times.
  3. For the nights in a homestay, it is often collective accommodation in a traditional house. The comfort is very basic. Mattresses, sheets, pillows and mosquito nets are usually provided. The sanitary facilities are common and sometimes reduced to their simplest expression (water tub and bucket). Comfort is very limited but it is a question of living an experience as close as possible to the local population.
  4. There is no hotel rating in terms of star or designation of any kind in Indonesia. The stars and hotel category mentioned are based on personal assessments. They are for information purposes only and are in no way contractual. We transcribe in our descriptions the classification, where it exists, of hotels by star or category carried out by the local ministries of tourism according to the standards in force and which are different from French and European standards. It is also the responsibility of guests to check the hotels’ websites to ensure that they suit their expectations. It is important to note that it will be difficult or impossible to change hotels during the high season from July 1st to September 15th.
  5. Some islands in Indonesia (Flores, Sumatra, Sulawesi, etc.) are still in the early stages of their development. The accommodation and transport offered on these destinations can be very limited and offer very simple and basic comfort.
  6. City centre hotels are generally noisier due to traffic and the proximity of entertainment centres (squares, restaurants, bars, shops, etc.).
  7. The internet access offered by hotels is in most cases a paid service. Guests must order and pay for it on site directly at the hotel. It is important to note that the flow is often slow or interrupted in Indonesia.
  8. The “double” room or cabin is often composed of two twin beds and sometimes a double bed. The “single” room or cabin is a double room occupied by one person, hence the single room supplement. Although more expensive, it can be less well located and smaller than the double room. The “triple” room or cabin is often a double room with the addition of an extra or extra bed. This system, which does not allow you to pay extra for a single room, has disadvantages of use such as reduced space or folding bed.
  9. In each hotel or boat there are rooms or cabins that are less well located, sold at the same price as the others. We cannot guarantee the situation.
  10. Sea view rooms do not always offer a completely unobstructed view of the ocean, the view can be lateral and sometimes obstructed.
  11. Security: Most hotels offer safes in the rooms or at the reception. We recommend keeping your valuables in or in your secure luggage if a safe is not available. Mimpi Nusantara Asia cannot be held responsible for items left in hotels or transport.
  12. Bathroom and plumbing: During your stay, you could enjoy an open or semi-open bathroom offering unique bathing experiences but can also accommodate local insects or ants. Don’t panic, these little animals are part of nature. Drainage and water facilities can be affected by rust in the country. Water pressure and hot water may be limited, as these Western amenities are not always suitable for local facilities.
  13. Humidity: Due to the high levels of humidity, especially in areas near the jungle or at higher altitudes, rooms may appear damp or have a slight odor. Turning on the air conditioning should help eliminate the odor quickly.
  14. Electricity: Electrical installations can sometimes hold surprises due to their design or experience slight disruptions, as power outages still occur in Indonesia. If an outlet does not work or acts strangely, please contact the hotel staff as soon as possible.

Restaurants and Shops

  1. The content of the tastings mentioned in the program is indicated for information purposes only. In the event that a specialty tasting is not available, we reserve the right to replace it without prior notice with another tasting of local specialties. These tastings do not constitute the meals, they take place before or after the meal, depending on their content. We have set them up to make you discover and appreciate very traditional dishes and as close as possible to the daily meals of the local population.
  2. The meals included in the program are most often in local restaurants or in hotels in the form of a set menu based on local cuisine. Menus can seem repetitive in Indonesia. The composition and content of the meals are predetermined. It is therefore up to the customer to request their modification directly from the restaurant owner. The customer will bear the cost of a menu change.
  3. The customer must report a food allergy to the agency before departure or to the restaurant owner once on site. The cost of a menu change will be borne by the user.
  4. The names of restaurants, hotels, boats or the like mentioned in the program are not contractual and may be replaced by other restaurants, hotels, boats or the like.
  5. Visits to local craft shops remain optional, linked to no obligation to purchase. However, they are a detour, regardless of the country you visit, and are linked to the country’s economic and tourism development.

Activities

  1. Swimming in the sea may be prohibited or discouraged depending on the period due to climatic or natural events.
  2. The discovery of the rice terraces is subject to the conditions of exploitation. They can therefore be green from transplanting to maturity and then fallow, therefore muddy.

Enhanced Legal Protection

  • Mimpi Nusantara Asia cannot be held responsible for the consequences of unforeseeable incidents or force majeure (natural disasters, pandemics, conflicts, strikes, government restrictions, etc.).
  • Travelers must take out travel insurance covering accidents, illnesses, repatriation and loss of luggage.

2. Changes and Cancellations

  • In the event of cancellation due to force majeure, no refund will be made. A postponement may be proposed subject to availability.

  • Complaints must be made in writing within 15 days of the end of the trip.

4. Health and Safety
