We are at the boarding gate and thank you warmly for this wonderful trip. The program put together by Audrey perfectly matched our expectations. Our guides and drivers were engaging and very friendly. Your handling of yesterday’s unexpected situation was also exactly what one would expect from a partner (and having compared it to the lack of proactivity/customer service of the local agency of the other family stranded yesterday, we can attest that this is not always a given, even with premium agencies and substantial budgets). We will certainly recommend you to our friends and family.
We spent 15 nights in Indonesia exploring Sumatra, Bali, and Komodo National Park. Everything went perfectly; we saw orangutans and Komodo dragons, and the snorkeling and diving were simply incredible, with magnificent coral reefs. The organization was top-notch, expertly managed by Audrey. I 100% recommend Mimpi and Audrey!
Wanting to discover Bali and Lombok on April 25th, independently, I completely entrusted the trip to Mimpi and especially to Leslie, who took my “problem” into her own hands! I wanted to explore in depth (culture, history, cuisine, trekking, religion, etc.) and also dedicate some time to relaxing on dream beaches… My request was more than granted: I must say that Leslie assigned me the most extraordinary guide/interpreter in the country: Mantra, a man of such constant kindness and cheerfulness that I will never forget him! That counts! The “cultural” visits were really well chosen (not too many, just the right amount!) and the selection of hotels was exceptional! An unforgettable trip because it was organized in such a professional way!
Dear Leslie (Mimpi), We sincerely wanted to thank you for the extraordinary organization of our trip to Bali. It was absolutely magical! Thanks to your professionalism and excellent advice, we were able to enjoy every moment without worrying about the logistics. The trip was perfectly tailored to our expectations and will remain an unforgettable memory. A big THANK YOU to Jerink, our guide and driver, for his service and kindness. We will not hesitate to recommend you. We look forward to traveling again with your agency, Mimpi.
Hi Clara! You put together a wonderful trip for us: beautiful sites, very friendly guides, and hotels that were exactly to our liking. It’s a shame it takes so long to get to Bali. Otherwise, we could come and spend our weekends there…😄 Our favorite day, hard to pinpoint: we really enjoyed the cycling, of course, for those of us who did it, which was three of us, including me!! A few lovely walks too… The Indonesians are so welcoming and always go out of their way to please. See you soon, happy surfing!
Hello Myriam, it’s with a heavy heart that we’re about to leave the magnificent region of Bali! We had a wonderful and unforgettable stay… so much so that we’re already thinking about a possible trip next year, but this time with our child… Would it be possible to get us a quote for a 14-day family trip to Bali? There’s no rush… But it would be a joy to travel with Mimpi again, as everything was so well organized. Have a lovely day! Upon our return, we’ll leave a review for your agency, as everyone on this trip deserves our appreciation…
Good morning Marco! We’re back in Spain now. Our trip to Indonesia was an unforgettable experience. The best part was the part you organized. You nailed the itinerary, and we had the authentic experience, away from the mass tourism, that we were looking for. The accommodation was wonderful, the activities were fun and perfectly suited to the girls. Afif, Surat, and Made are true professionals who helped us every step of the way and adapted the program perfectly.
Hello Remi, The return trip went very well, and we’ve had a hard time getting back into the swing of things at work and our routines… These two weeks spent in Bali were enchanting, and our stay will remain etched in our memories. I wish you all the best and thank you for your support. Sincerely, Nathalie.
An exceptional trip, with convenient arrangements, no need to think, the itinerary was already set and the driver was at our disposal. Before the trip, we had carefully planned the route for a family with two teenagers. No surprises on site.
A magnificent trip between Java, Bali and Lombok! Audrey listened to our expectations, creating an itinerary rich in landscapes and local encounters, with exceptional accommodations and a consistently warm and attentive welcome. We will be back; there is still so much to discover!
I’m speechless after today’s amazing day! I cried tears of joy seeing my daughters, especially Martina, who’s terrified of the sea, so happy! Thank you so much for everything! It’s been incredible! I have to thank you for organizing our trip. It was wonderful! Everything was perfect! And the best thing of all, without a doubt, was Didik. An incredible person! If we come back, we want him back! We said goodbye with tears in our eyes… He’s such a good person! And he gave everything for us! I will definitely choose you again if I return, and I’ll recommend you to everyone who asks about our trip. Thank you again for everything!
We’re returning home with our heads full of beautiful images and wonderful memories of Bali! Thank you so much for the organization and your suggestions 😀🙏 It perfectly matched the mix of culture, encounters, and nature we were looking for. The hotels were perfect, and Edi, our driver, was very pleasant and efficient. We would definitely do the same trip again, with the only slight drawback being Tegalalang, which felt a bit like Disneyland and the rice paddies weren’t as beautiful as elsewhere. Thanks again!

Planning a trip to Bali? Below you’ll find answers to the most common questions about travel, culture, and experiences on the island. Whether you’re dreaming of a honeymoon, a family adventure, or a tailor-made Bali itinerary, these insights will help you plan a smooth, meaningful, and well-informed journey.
The best time to visit Bali is during the dry season, from April to October, when the weather is sunny, warm, and ideal for beaches, trekking, and cultural visits. The wet season (November–March) is still pleasant, with fewer crowds and lush green landscapes.
A minimum of 10 to 14 days is recommended to enjoy Bali’s cultural heart (Ubud), northern nature (Munduk & Menjangan), eastern temples, and southern beaches without feeling rushed.
Ubud is perfect for culture and nature, Sanur offers calm seaside charm, Sidemen provides a peaceful rural immersion, and the Bukit is ideal for beaches and sunsets. For the richest experience, we recommend combining several regions. Our tailor-made Bali itineraries blend these contrasting landscapes and atmospheres, creating a journey perfectly aligned with your interests and travel style.
Many nationalities can enter Indonesia with a Visa on Arrival (VOA) valid for 30 days, renewable once. Requirements may vary, so we recommend checking the latest entry rules before your trip.
Yes, Bali is generally very safe for travelers, including families and solo visitors. As always, take standard precautions with personal belongings and follow local guidelines in temples and natural sites.
Bali is predominantly Hindu, with Balinese Hinduism shaping everyday life through rituals, offerings, ceremonies, and temple festivals. Travelers will see canang sari (daily offerings), processions, and temple celebrations across the island. Our tailor-made itineraries respect cultural customs and help you experience Bali’s spiritual heritage in an authentic and meaningful way.
Modest clothing is required. Knees and shoulders must be covered. Sarongs are often provided at major temples, but having your own is practical for multiple visits.
Yes, travel insurance is highly recommended for Bali and Indonesia in general. It should cover medical care, emergency evacuation, lost luggage, and trip interruptions. Some activities like rafting, trekking, or snorkeling may require additional adventure coverage. We always advise travelers to choose comprehensive insurance before arrival to ensure peace of mind throughout their journey.
Yes, you can visit Komodo Island from Bali, but it requires a short domestic flight (around 1 hour) to Labuan Bajo, the gateway to the Komodo National Park. From there, travellers typically join a private boat tour or a liveaboard to explore Komodo, Padar and the surrounding islands. At Mimpi Nusantara Asia, we design tailor-made Komodo itineraries that can be added to your Bali trip.
Absolutely, Bali is an excellent destination for families, offering a perfect balance of culture, nature, beach time and fun activities for all ages. At Mimpi Nusantara Asia, we also offer a special Treasure Hunt Tour, designed for families with kids. Guided by a “guardian of Bali’s secrets,” children follow clues, meet local artisans and discover hidden cultural stories — a playful way to experience real Balinese traditions while having fun. We tailor all family itineraries to your children’s ages, interests and energy levels, whether you prefer relaxed beach days, cultural discoveries, gentle adventure, or a mix of everything.
Yes, Bali is one of the world’s top honeymoon destinations, known for its romantic landscapes, intimate boutique resorts, and unforgettable experiences designed for two. From private pool villas in Ubud’s jungle to candlelight dinners on the beach and ancient Balinese blessing ceremonies, the island offers the perfect blend of luxury, nature, and cultural magic. At Mimpi Nusantara Asia, we design tailor-made Bali honeymoon itineraries that match your travel style — whether you dream of wellness retreats, romantic dinners in the nature, scenic waterfalls, or slow island escapes. You can even combine Bali with islands like Sumba or Komodo for a multi-destination honeymoon.
